The projectors will use light and multidimensional visual effects to activate the immersive installation through projection mapping, creating an illusory dreamlike pattern. hand-painted mural titled “Turbulent Tranquility” was created with water-based latex paint and is accompanied by four WUXGA laser projectors with 6000 ANSI lumens and interchangeable lenses to offer guests a dynamic and transitional experience. The collaboration was commissioned by Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino, who hired NY-based art consultant Indiewalls alongside the resort’s design team, led by Dash Design.
The mural and projected animation were designed by Integrated Visions’ artists Bryan and Michelle Dodson, and painted by Emily Strauss, Victoria Przetak, Francesca Quintano and Tim Rowan.
